ive been drawing for as long as i can remember, and constantly feeling behind any other artists i knew growing up or not as skilled as them, at one point or another i definitely felt similarly to these people thinking that this was some kinda gift they were born with, but ive grown up realizing that thats too much of a self-pitying mindset that actively sabotages your drive for artistic expression, and i wish people would realize that art doesnt have any kind of guidelines or conventions that makes them considered "good" or anything, art is all about expression and its something people need to appreciate more because really ANYONE can do it, regardless of who they are or what theyre capable of, art can be anything they make, and its really heartbreaking to see people give up on it by resorting to having a robot churn out processed sludge that steals the creations of artists in order to help people feel better about themselves for not wanting to put the time into making art themselves.
