If were heading for mass unemployment the likes the world has never seen before, all of this assumes the masses will just sit idly by and watch their whole worlds disappear. I think UBI is a pipe dream for the foreseeable, so for sure when this kicks in at scale, at best banning anything but narrow AI will be a huge vote winner, but at worst who knows what could happen…
