sounds alot like the apocalypse. All of this is horrible. The footnote about the universal currency in the scanning of your eyes is beyond terrifying. That means Altman wants to create a fiscal system where his AI decides if we eat/drink/shelter/live. All of this will lead to the rest of us fighting each other for survival at the basest level. Maybe we need to stop allowing the powers that be to divide us by distractions. Protests abound about alot of issues, all important, but I believe none of them is more important than stopping super-intelligent AI. If Altman and his believers achieve that, none of the rest of it will matter; not climate change, not social justice, not nuclear threats, etc. But by keeping us divided and distracted, those really running things keep us from understanding this extinction event and keep us from banding together, worldwide, across cultures, religions, continents, to put an end to their goal to literally wipe the rest of us off the face of the earth.
