As someone with an art degree, I HATE when techbros use the 'accessibility to disabled people' argument to defend AI. Anyone who has taken a modern art history class (or happens to be from Mexico City) will have heard the name Frida Kahlo, a Mexican painter who kept making art despite *having polio since age six* AND *an iron rail impaling her pelvis and breaking her spine* in her early 20s. This artist was bedridden and *had limbs falling off due to gangrene* and refused to abandon her passion, and that's why history remembers her. Frida Kahlo was a disabled artist who became one of the most influential artists in Mexican history and art history overall, and her disability never stopped her from doing what she loved. If these 'AI Artists' were smart enough to read, they'd learn the only thing they're 'good at creating' is excuses.
