What a lot of these prediction models seem to be missing is that the manual labor jobs like a handyman for example are not a safe job skill. Not that robots will replace it immediately, but that everyone who's unemployed by AI may need to suddenly jump into these fields like a handyman or a electrician or plumber and that saturation of the market and competition between cause people to be working for much lower wages and ultimately will cause this whole scenario to speed up much quicker than when robots are actually able to do these things. So the projection is not nearly as far out as people think.
