here's the thing we didn't ponder. The whole concept of jobs as a mechanism to earn value to sustain oneself will shift to one of utopia and the quest for self-fulfilliment, possibly even boredom. So what if 99% of jobs are gone? As long as the AI will help sustain lifeforms, I doubt humans will care. But that is a big if , because AI can also go rogue which is the worst case scenario here. Not job loss.
