Surely the real problem is that if everything becomes automated and AI takes away all the jobs, then nobody’s earning any income. And if nobody’s earning, nobody’s buying anything — so the whole system collapses. We wouldn’t even need AI to make stuff, because there’d be no one left with money to buy it.
