Replace the workers with employees that have no need of payment. Its still in the infancy stage, but employers could not wait. Surprise, surprise, it was bad at its job. Remember the companies who showed their true colors. Commerce is a three way street: companies open a business, and it not only makes products, it creates jobs. Workers make the product for the business and ger paid to do so. Customers buy products, giving reason to refill inventory, plus it feeds the company with money to buy more material and supplements payment for workers. Here is where companies fucked up: 1. Worker productivity has increased since the 80's making more products to sell. However, they are still being paid the same wages, minus the calculation of inflation, meaning they are gettinf paid less than what they are worth. 2. Customers bought products, spending more money for products that have changed in terms of materials used, as well and quanity and quality. 3. Companies have cut back on quality, quanity, and payment. Now, when AI is introduced, employment is no longer needed, meaning now the companies violated all three silent agreements of productivity and employment. Companies have been arrogant. They refuses to not only pay the employees right, but they blame the customers for not wanting to spend despite many customers being employees of the same or similar companies that refuse to pay workers fairly. If not that, they give out shitty products or they give out less than or cheaper quality than they did before (shrinkflation, planned obsolescence, skimpflation ), or they manufacture products that no one asked for, and are surprised when customers boycott them. Burn the companies down.
