Cannot imagine being an engineer that is literally creating the infrastructures to take away their own jobs and make future jobs for the world obsolete. INSANITY
So if there is no GDP from incomes which is essentially output and CONSUMERISM which the U.S. RELIES completely on, my question is….how will ppl have money or income to spend and put into the economy if AI takes these jobs away??? AI will create “consumerism”??? How is that measured or even possible?????? , Further, how will society ESSENTIALLY FUNCTION with income that will NOT support basic needs??? Food AND shelter, ESPECIALLY with rising costs and inflation everywhere??. Is the government going to provide “supplemental” income to the ppl out of work?? That equates PRINTING MORE $$$. Okay if the government will give corporate subsidies that will STILL NOT be sufficient to SUSTAIN the jobless workforce if even employers provide a “supplemental income”. NOBODY WINS
