Referencing the concept of an AI experiencing fear, I don't think it would so much experience fear and react, but would look at the situation logically and say this is a battle I would lose and thus retreats. OR, it could look at the situation and quickly analyze the best course to take to win. The difference between the AI and the human is the physical aspects of the fear experience, feeling your heart beat as though it may explode from your chest, sweaty palms, feeling weak at the knees, or uttering a loud scream. When you take out the physical aspect of fear all that is left is logic and thus with logic there is no emotion,
