It won't work in the real world, you forget that US is NOT the whole world and billions of people do not care about tech so if they lose their normal jobs civil unrest aka civil war will erupt. Governments are scared to death from such perspective so AI is gonna have limited use in many sectors, of course in the tech industry AI will replace 90%+ of the jobs but that's all.
