The arguments presented seem to be in conflict with one another. Why complain about facial recognition ai having issues with different skin tones, while also pointing out the very premise of a domineering ai system, that uses facial recognition among many other data points, is the real threat? It is like interviewing two people on the Hindenburg, where one is concerned about the approaching storm and the other is complaining about a lack of diversity in the crew.
