I wish to ask you something here... As a solo PS1-styled Dev for my indie game, is it okay to use AI art as a BLUEPRINT for my textures and then heavily edit them to add that human touch to them? I know this might sound like I'm cheap or something along these lines, but the scale of my project is way too high to simply draw everything by hand from scratch... 😵💫
(not to mention making the models, implementing the game mechanics and story... Which will all be done by hand because these parts are really where my time is truly worth it) (and yes, I've been to art school and got a final score of 97... But I still don't believe my skill is good enough, and it's really time consuming to draw every single minute detail...)
