Seems to me this exercise of developing ultimate knowledge and intelligence is a race to the bottom of the pile. Lacking human labour or having it replaced results in billions of humans with no work. Boredom erodes moral judgement and results in degradation. Societal collapse is inevitable. Power and control is an end goal, and when that is no longer available to mankind in any shape or form there is apostasy.
Regardless of attempts to place limits on AI, it’s domination in progress.
