We are in a simulation as evidenced by finite values and math mathematical constants the keep the world in motion like Planck's constant. But we were created by God, a spirit being that is by nature outside of Space and Time. Our universe in fundamentally bound by space and time in a time-space continuum. And anything created within the space-time continuum will not be able to break free from it. Not even super intelligence. But if God, through his Son Jesus, promised that through our belief in Him we will one day be made a new creation, one capable of experiencing the spiritual nature outside of space-time, then that is the hope we have in salvation. God has promised to recreate the world in perfection and live with us and Love us through all eternity.
Regarding short lives, the reason we cannot live forever is because we have sinful natures and the creator modified our genome. Essentially our thoughts and actions do not align with the creator. Thus our lives were shortened because the thoughts of men were evil continually. Created beings will always defy the creator. That is why we are having this discussion about AI now. Like Satan defied God, and then humanity defied God, only God has the super intelligence to correct the problem and bring synchronization.
