Flawed logic, but not on Tesla's part. FortNine makes the spurious analogy to two artist renditions of the same scene that are exclusive of each other factually. Two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time is science, not art and so when information implies this impossibility a choice has to made on what is the fact. Humans are as susceptible to misinterpretations as is technology. Consider how many drivers explain their collisions with remarks like, I never saw him in my path, and, He came out of nowhere. These are examples of factual impossibilities that humans fall prey to. WHAT IS MISSING HERE IN JUDGING TESLA SELF DRIVING IS A COMPARISSON OF WHO IS MORE ACCURATE IN INTERPRETING CONDITIONS AND OBSTACLES IN THE ROAD WHILE ADJUSTING DRIVING TO CONDITIONS. ARE HUMANS BETTER AT UNDERSTANDING AND REACTING WHAT THEY ENCOUNTER IN TRAFFIC? IS TESLA TECHNOLOGY AS GOOD AT AVOIDING CRASHES AS HUMAN DRIVERS? SHOULD TECHNOLOGY BE BANNED FROM THE ROAD FOR BEING 'IMPERFECT' WHILE HUMANS ARE GRANTED A LICENSE TO KILL BECAUSE THEY ARE FLESH AND BLOOD?
