oh god. Capitalizm is capitalizing on its won mutually assured destruction. the idea that evolution continues in A.I. just seems absurd. none of our technology can even hold a candle to our biology as it exists now; we are just starting to see possibilities inherent in existing biology that outstrip the wildest singularity theories.
