Creating images through ai doesn’t cost you a penny as long as you have a pc with decent graphics card. Stable diffusion and comfyui are free only people who generate images as a novelty pay for chatgpt or midjourney and such so you are wrong on that it is expensive on the long run. And you are comparing that with drawing? Most people compare it with commissioning someone not learning to draw themselves and yeah commissioning a single piece takes too much time and if you want something of good quality it is going to be expensive as well. Most people who generate images with ai tools will never commission an artist to begin with.
