Raw LLM Responses

i can no longer draw. i have limitations i didn't used to. i dont have years to reteach myself to draw (classes arent an option for several reasons). i want to express myself. ai is the only way i can now. to me it's like using music to explain an emotion to someone. i actually dreamt for that kind of tool for years. it almost feels dehumanizing to me when the answer is "learn how to draw, guh!" it isnt always that easy. even when i could draw, i couldnt draw everything i wanted and it just frustrated and depressed me. in school, i became embarrassed to ever think anything i created was good when compared to anyone else. it doesnt mean i, by default, cant appreciate actual art. i by no means like the idea of computer algorithms replacing human passion, or people stealing art, but if using ai to try to express myself is morally wrong...im just losing one more thing from an already stunted life. ive lived long enough to never think internet could ever be better than dialup and fax machines were a blessing. the way ai is pervading society does feel shallow and primarily one more way corporations can get richer with as little effort as possible by limiting or eliminating jobs (i experienced this firsthand), not just art. as was covered, it helps people cheat and steal, dumbs people down, helps hack and write malicious programs, etc. but like in my case, it can also help, even just a little. maybe im not allowed to dissent or contribute to the conversation because im not a young artist but it feels bad to not be talented and to steal. i guess im just saying its a lose lose.
