Calling Ghibli's artstyle "plain and uninspired" has to one of the worst takes I've ever heard on anything. Yes, it's a relatively simple artstyle, but it's also iconic and instantly recognizable. It oozes character and charm, as opposed to the generic AI slop that all looks like it came from the same factory.
