I used to think that the biggest issue with AI is that these expensive generative models producie non-viable solutions that don't work. However, with the development of AI, a much bigger issue was born: AI producing solutions that DO work, but no one understands how and why they work. This makes us dependent on AI (= layoffs), but at the same time leaves us extremely vulnerable in case of any bug or glitch in the system. So now people don't have jobs AND our entire online ecosystems are hanging by a thread.
