The weak link is that you still need humans such as electricians, construction workers, etc to keep the power going and if A.I. nukes us, it will take out the power grid. One of our biggest vulnerabilities is that huge transformers are not sitting around in a warehouse so even a huge solar flare will doom us. Same thing applies to A.I.
