What’s crazy is how much of a contraption the Waymo looks and they STILL crash given every single leg up. Teslas look like a normal car and drive everywhere fine. Cameras will be fine as long as the ai underneath can function at human level. Tesla seems to be taking the hard path to autonomy while all the LIDAR folks are painting themselves into a corner with all the extra sensors that eventually won’t be needed.
