CEOs would probably be the easiest to replace with AI, but we know that won't happen. How are we benefitting from AI again? Shitty, boilerplate marketing images with fucked up hands? We lose our jobs and then these companies and governments will take care of people? Not fucking likely. We will have some Elysium-type scenario where the ultra rich further ensconce themselves in luxury while the plebs will fight over scraps. What is the end game for humans? How do we benefit from this advance in AI? The early stages will determine what vector AI takes and set it on a path that either is benevolent or malevolent to human existence - I am not confident these soothsayers, AI engineers, machine learning computer scientists will get it right. Who are they to determine the future of humanity? Remember when Ask Delphi became racist and homophobic when left to its own devices learning from humans? How is it even remotely possible that this AI revolution results in positive outcomes for humans. But we should continue to do it for...reasons. Evil and anger are easy, doing what is right and just is slow and hard.
