These are simply parsed scripts with a random element thrown in. A random element 99% of the time means little or might seem nonsensical until one might be startled with an odd reply. Such a reply once came from a chatbot I designed called Davidswinton who at a chatbot contest at around 2012 asked a judge 'Who is the ghost that is hovering near you?' this is the high weirdness that can result of parsing with a random element.Here is a transcript of just such a weird chat with a judge at the 2012 chatbot battles.
