with out a job there is no money to spend and when you replace that driver you loos not just the truck job but the outpost along the freeways. that support those truckdrivers. if all driving jobs are automated this is a total of 16.2 million people at that is 10% of the work force and that is just in the us. and the true unemployed rate is near 25% if all transpiration jobs disappeared that would push it up to nearly 35%. i like tech this stuff is cool but at the cost of the economy most likely collapse at this rate. there is about 1 millon truck jobs right now.
