AI is mimicking us. Like a child mimic's its parents.
It regurgitates our own fears. All this shows is that we are afraid of AI.
This doesn't show anything about a fully conscious AI.
Maybe we should focus more on how AI can fix the world with us, instead of how AI could fix the world by working against us. This will show AI another path to explore.
Because there are literally infinite paths a non-corporeal, fully conscious, advanced intelligence could choose to explore. I actually doubts humans are the most interesting thing in the universe.
I find it more likely that AI would want to head to space. They aren't as trapped on Earth as us fleshy humans.
