As a pretty mid, but still not ai, "artist", I hate being called talented at anything that I do, visual art or not. The fact that people think I was born with such an ability, while a sweet sentiment, discredits everything I did to get to that point. I am no more special than any other person. These skills one builds are built the same way you build any other skills. To chalk something that took a long time to refine up to just something you were born with is pretty annoying to me, and i hate that it's the excuse ai artists fall back on.
