Factually wrong title. It's already replaced a good number of developers, and 2026 will see a lot more.
Large tech companies have been doing it already to improve margins and are pushing for further AI adoption to improve margins better. And has AI been actually improving margins? Hell yeah.
This is a fact and there's already significant data to support this. It's not a topic of debate at this point.
