Infeel like we're in the "Napster" phase of AI generated images. Everything is fair game to be scrapped, copyrights are useless and it's a free for all. Thing is, Napster was benefitting people who didn't have money to buy stuff and hurting the big record companies while I feel like image generator seem to benefit big companies while effing up small creators (or even big ones).
The tool in itself is good but it's not used in a good way or at its full potential. Using it to make senseless slop is dumb and a waste of energy. Sadly in an era of more and more soulless crap in the world of entertainment (seriously the last Disney movies/tv shows are so tame and generic they could've been written by AI) I think this will continue to grow.
My only hope is that those things will be so power hungry that they'll become to expensive to run.
