And there's the problem ! It's been happening for generations, people are in charge of making decisions that won't have an effect on them. It makes it so much easier to go I won't be around to see it.... We have created an issue where we have made things easier on ourselves so we have become incompetent to some degree where common sense is rare. Etc.
