AI projects should be set up like the building industry projects in that you apply for a permit on making a specific system, and you have inspectors that come in and verify risk involved, followed by compliance with the guidelines.
And we really need to start approaching AI projects like the military does theirs. Documentation must be through and testing must be mandatory for anything above the low risk tier.
