I don't know much about the history of Israel. ChatGPT told me that Jews bought land from Arabs who didn't live on the territory, but were the owners. And those who lived on this territory were not the owners, but the tenants, but for some reason they were against the new owner of the land breaking the lease with the tenants. Because for some reason the tenants consider the land they rented to be theirs.
