One of the things that gets me about AI art is that it is ONLY imitation, meaning it can only ever create something based on what already exists. It is literally impossible for it to innovate. Who in their right mind wants to just see the same nonsense blended up and spat back out at you over and over? Don’t you want variety? Novelty? Ideas and perspectives that are completely new to you? I just can’t understand it. Art is expression, and everybody had a brand new experience that has never existed before. AI will never be able to recreate that.
