Australian here. I've used Waymo a lot in Phoenix and I love them. It's my favourite way of getting around there. I think this man is not really trying and is more interested in making a YouTube video. I forget exactly how passengers are advised to handle this situation but I knew it when I used them last and it's part of a logical protocol, although I've had no mishaps at all with Waymo.
