This is so infuriating and ridiculously incompetent. They’ve ignored every aspect of policing and investigation 101. They decided this victim was guilty and violated every common sense red flag that directly and very obviously contradicts this ridiculous AI software. That does not absolve the officers’ responsibility to use their objective facts slapped them in the face that don’t support this astounding negligence and violation of basic human rights. Innocent until proven guilty, due diligence in confirming the random software glitch that is so overwhelmingly wrong and not supported by ANY of the plethora of evidence of this victims actual identity. Of course he is livid and frustrated and being persecuted without cause. This never should have gotten this far, and the emotional and physical duress he has been subjected to is so completely disgusting, incompetent, and willfully negligent. Falsely accused, kidnapped and subjected to physical pain, confinement, emotional distress, medical negligence of the long term health consequences of taking a completely innocent person and insisting he is someone he isn’t because …. AI trumps baseline common sense? I don’t understand. These officers should be charged for stupidity and incompetence and don’t deserve a badge. They deserve to be put through the exact same conditions under the exact same circumstances, just so they understand how inhumane and malicious this is. People are suddenly shifting to idiotic nonsensical blind dependence on tech. This is indescribably unforgivable and dangerous and unacceptable. How can they not see what they are doing to this innocent person??
