Also, when people keep asking employers to pay them $25 an hour to put a burger together, what do think is going to happen?
Let’s see, I can completely automate my restaurant, which, sure, is going to be expensive, initially, but I’ll never have to worry about people calling in sick, I won’t have to do a 401K or IRA match, I won’t have to offer medical, dental and vision insurance, redo schedules due to PTO and vacation days requested OR, I can put up with employees that I’ll have to accommodate all the time while hearing them gripe how little they get paid, while performing a set of menial skills they can’t get right anyways. Decisions, decisions.
