I do believe that there are types of non standard art. I certainly don't consider printing out something mid journey made as art. I myself am a glassblower and because of that when people starting making 3d printer art a lot of folks asked me how I felt. I think its great! As I understand you still have to design things before you print them and I have seen the work that goes in after the prints come out. I saw, in real time, the development of a new type of art. However with AI I just can't see it as art, because it is missing the human element. If typing a prompt is all it takes than its not enough. Maybe if someone actually painted the thing that the AI spit out instead of printing it would be enough for me. Like use the AI to be creative for you, but then use your skill to transfer that computer image through a brush and onto canvas. Thats not all that different from a still life painting really. Idk, I am very much a 'gates open, come on in' person when it comes to art. I just think it should require some actual physical input, more so than typing a simple prompt
