The level of comments here make me despair for the human race : or at least those humans in the “West”.
Has it not occurred to any of you “Oh my God this would make me suicidal Human Experiment dystopia” people that this is not to punish and control students, but to have better feedback on teaching techniques and on individual students so problems of inattention and boredom can be investigated and the causes explored/solutions found before a failure in education ?
Education is the West is a deteriorating disaster zone yet no one seems to do anything except wring their hands while functional illiteracy and innumeracy climb above 20% in the uk and the U.S.

Sorry folks, but China digitised money which basically got rid of financial crime and corruption, and they put in cameras and AI which made the whole country safe, and citizens are quite happy with the results. London meanwhile is the city with the most surveillance cameras per capita in the world yet stabbings and robberies continue to soar : So you are surveilled but have no benefit in personal security. Yes ! Way to go !!!
