The reason GPT-5 said it didn't recommend bromide isn't because someone at OpenAI patched it out (they didn't, you can check the system prompt), it's because this case happened before GPT-5 had even been released. The model he used was likely the 3+ year-old GPT-3.5 as it says that in the case report. You even included a screenshot of that in your video! This is really the kind of thing you should check before making claims about how LLMs work.
