It’s difficult for me to even take a conversation like this too seriously. It’s posed that newer models are “aware” when they are being tested. But it’s still an LLM, it’s still anticipating the next word to be written, just getting better at saying what people want them to say…including testers that would want their “AI” to be becoming “aware” of things.
At some point even people who seem to understand we are no where near actual “super duper intelligence” gets so disillusioned by the current slop, they start to get duped as well.
