Google is paying Reddit $60 Million to use its content to train AI models. Google just didn't send their bots out to scan the site. If that kind of thinking is already happening, it seems they recognize Reddit content as their property, and they need to license it. The same should be true for art. AI content generator owners need to contact the artists whose art they learn from and pay them for the rights. It's our art.
