I had never heard of this organization or what they did as I am not part of the writing community. But if your (alleged) organization's purpose is to shine a light and help out writers who struggle in the publishing world, yet you say such BS… I have to conclude that you don't know what in the world you are talking about when it comes to writing.
Everyone who has been even in close proximity to a physically disabled person knows damn well that the problem is not in the thought process; but in the physical interaction that the thought needs to have with the surroundings to take form. In fact, most of the supplies provided to those persons are mainly sensors (eye tracking, dictation, movement facilitators, or condensation) that use AI to “fill in the gaps” when needed. Pretending that something like the AI they are supporting is the solution, is insulting.
To be honest I just think that they wanted to jump on the AI wagon to make money. They deserve the downfall.
