I'm glad that there's so much more empathy than on a similar story about people becoming too friendly with AI. This one is why all these tools shouldn't have been sent out here to the public because it clearly doesn't have proper safeguards. Not to mention how the data centers need so much to power AI which depletes resources and increases utility bills to the communities that have been sold out by their local Representatives. We just drove past a shelter today. Tech Bros are throwing millions at technology designed to replace people when they really could be helping their fellow humans. Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
