Comparing AI to nuclear weapons is flawed.... we do not know where this is heading... it is true of all technology if we don't explore we do not know... exploring can lead to problems but we dont' yet know where this AI path leads until we follow it. Is Science Safe? No... did it lead to everything we love about our society and lifestyle we have now? YES.... do you like cars, electricity, computers, and everything else science gives you??? well that is because people took risks to make discoveries about how things work. AI is another version of this.
