So I would like your opinion on this, I am a prelaw student and you should never rely on ChatGPT alone. End of story however I have found through using ChatGPT that you can find proper caselaw and everything however you must absolutely must do your due diligence using Lexus Nexus or Westlaw to confirm that these cases exist and be that they say what they do say it’s not a shortcut it is a way to bring up relevant cases to an issue as long as they are publicly available and you can and should always request the links from ChatGPT where they got this information. Every time I have used it to find caselaw regarding my issue because let’s say for instance I’m not sure some of the keywords I can put into Lexus Nexus or Westlaw I can use ChatGPT to help me find the keywords and some key cases that are maybe still bad Law, but I can check that against West Law and Lexus Lexus.? what’s your thoughts and opinions on that?
