Glad to see someone actually talking about some of the real dangers of AI. So many people can't even see 1/100th of the picture. This sheds some light on it. I knew some of this, but even this gave me a few new perspectives. All that really matters is that AI is going to become too powerful and because of that we really need to not let AI take away our humanity and freedoms. I personally don't believe AI can ever become sentient, conscious, whatever, as long as it is still made of "non-living materials". I think it will all be mimicry, but it will be able to do it to such a degree that it will seem indistinguishable from any other human.
