the old guy is being gravely concerned about the future, but he is also selling the thing, and almost directly, by perpetuating the stupid mythology around it, for which there are no examples in what they had achieved so far. also, he doesn't give us the most obvious advice: DON'T USE IT! if you don't use it, there is no money and no growth for the AI project.
