If AI will replace a large amount of population those companies would not have customers, it doesn't matter how cheap production is, and if society will collapse because of this having billions of dollars will not help as they will become toilet paper or a number on a server. What will matter will be assets and the power to protect that assets and is a pretty hard thing, think like holding a bread in front of millions of starving people, the money will not protect anything.
