I’ve wondered since I understood what AI was WHY people (some people) are so excited about a technology that can and probably will completely replace them. AI can potentially create images that look more like you than YOU do; can reproduce your signature, your fingerprints, your voice more convincingly than you can. Why would anyone any longer believe YOU—about ANYTHING? Anyone with AI will be able to take everything you have because YOU are no longer the best version of you. I’m confused about why anyone would want this, but I’m totally clear about the levels of evil and avarice that exist in our country and the world.
